- Masks are Required. Disposable masks are available at the entrance. Masks may be removed while meditating and facing the wall. They should be worn at all other times.
- Wear a mask during Kinhin, and maintain a distance of at least six feet from others.
- People with any signs of illness such as cough, runny nose, fever, headache should not attend.
- Even if you know your symptoms have an innocent cause such as allergies, others don’t know this! You should not attend.
- It’s fine to enter after practice has begun (after the first bell). Quietly find a seat.
- Zabutons are located in marked spaces that have been measured out to provide a safe 6 foot distance from each other. Do not move the zabutons.
- Zafus, Chairs, Benches, and other accessories are now found in the main Zendo to keep people out of the smaller supply room. Pick your accessories and place them on the Zabuton of choice.
- The practice period consists of 30 minutes Zazen (sitting meditation), 10 minutes Kinhin (walking meditation), and 30 minutes Zazen.
- Zafus, Chairs, Benches, and other accessories are now found in the main Zendo to keep people out of the smaller supply room. Pick your accessories and place them on the Zabuton of choice.
- Bathrooms are equipped with disposable paper towels and hand sanitizer.
